Understanding Health and Safety in the Irish Workplace

This course has been designed to equip participants with the necessary information to understand the regulations and legislation in place governing the health and safety of
individuals in Ireland.

The course will develop the participants knowledge of their duties and obligations under the legislation by encouraging discussion of the issues and practical application of the information.

• To understand the techniques of manual handling and their importance.
• To allow participants put manual handling techniques into practice.
